Family; Bass

Silvery with seven to eight lines horizontaly arranged on sides, coloration is dark olive to silvery white, Body is deep and dorsal fins are seperate. Designed for fast moving currant prefers cooler water.

Can grow to over 100 lbs. but rarely taken over 50. This species has been over fished in the past decade, numbers are increasing due to law restrictions and catch and release fishery.

A famous species to fly fisherman as a beautiful hard fighting fish.
