Like other species of mushrooms, Ricordia are very hardy and I have found mine to be nothing but easy to keep. They are also easily propagated, even in relatively low light, making them the perfect beginner's coral. They do enjoy a little bit of current, it really makes their finger-like extensions stand out more. My maroon clowns love to nestle in them. Believe it or not, these guys will occasionally filter-feed on the phytoplankton I add for the rest of the tank.
